Project  responsibilities


Skills / Qualifications


  • Administer the package of Wood electrical engineering group
  • Ensure that all EPC Electrical Engineers under his / her supervision work to the project procedures, specifications and standards, good engineering practices and techniques, and any project-specific requirements
  • Supervise the day to day engineering interfaces between EPC core engineering group, Project Managers and the engineering teams assigned to the EPC package – includes interaction with all other specialist disciplines as required
  • Participate in design reviews and engineering changes with customer as necessitated by design development and ensure core team are made aware of these
  • Participate in key customer reviews and meetings as required
  • Participate in project reviews, value engineering and value improvement workshops with customer
  • Input engineering procedures and work practices in conjunction with Core Electrical Lead as appropriate

  • Degree in relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in major oil / gas refinery / petrochemical projects in the capacity of Senior electrical engineer with EPC organization
  • Fully familiar with international codes, standards and recommended practices to be adopted during EPC phases of oil / gas projects
  • Must have the capacity to develop detail design deliverables
  • Must have proven ability to contribute during development of electrical system studies with ETAP software.
  • Fluent English and Spanish
  • Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required
