We are looking for a dedicated and self-driven Quality Engineer to help us make our world leading diamond production technology even better. You'll be an integral part of an experienced team of mechanical, electrical, and materials engineers, and at the interface between R&D and production operations in our Zaragoza facility. The position will involve hands-on work with commercial and custom characterization equipment, as well as standardization, optimization and improvement of the quality of our incoming key materials.
Responsibilities
- Verify machined parts and built assemblies comply with drawings and test reports as part of receiving and pre-shipment inspections.
- Drive root cause analysis (RCCA) and implement industry-standard tools like FMEA, 8D, and A3 to resolve supplier quality issues.
- Create and execute supplier improvement plans to mitigate risk and enhance quality and delivery performance, including providing on-site education and international support.
- Author, edit, and audit internal quality assurance requirements to maintain adherence to organizational and ISO 9001 standards.
- Partner with internal teams to conduct outgoing quality assessments and resolve complex quality issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 1–3 years of experience in a quality-focused role.
- Experience in QA methodologies including DOE, FMEA, SPC, RCCA, and control plans.
- Skilled in GD&T, drawing interpretation, and structured problem-solving frameworks like 8D or A3.
- Knowledge of metals processing, metrology (MSA/GR&R), and statistical capability analysis (CPk)
- English and Spanish fluency. 2 Months total of on-site training in the US and Trujillo are required.
