What We’re Looking For


  • Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in financial reporting, audit or technical accounting roles, ideally within Big Four firms or similar environments.
  • Previous exposure to initial public offering preparation or public company financial reporting environments is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and Spanish Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Experience in group consolidation processes and multi-entity financial reporting environments is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating with external auditors and supporting audit processes is preferred.
  • Exposure to Public Company Accounting Oversight Board audit environments or United States listed reporting standards is advantageous.
  • Experience working within international or multi-entity corporate groups.
  • Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning systems and financial reporting tools and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong balance sheet review and financial analysis capability with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to assess complex financial reporting matters.
  • Ability to work independently within a lean finance team while collaborating effectively with multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability in managing financial reporting responsibilities.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and holidays, in line with the operational needs of The Pacha Group.
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English and Spanish. Additional languages are a definite plus.
  • Holds the legal right to work in Europe, including any required visas or work permits, in full compliance with local regulations.
  • Personally settled on the island with accommodation already arranged is a must.

Key Responsibilities


  • Supports the preparation and review of monthly financial reporting packages for group reporting and internal management purposes.
  • Assists in group consolidation processes, ensuring consistency between management reporting and statutory financial reporting.
  • Participates in the preparation of statutory financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with applicable reporting standards.
  • Ensures alignment between International Financial Reporting Standards reporting and internal management reporting frameworks.
  • Performs detailed balance sheet reviews and financial analysis to ensure accuracy, transparency and completeness of financial information.
  • Coordinates and supports the external audit process, including preparation of audit documentation and responses to auditor queries.
  • Supports the Finance Director in IPO readiness initiatives, including strengthening financial reporting processes, documentation and internal control frameworks.
  • Assists in the development and improvement of financial reporting processes and internal control procedures.
  • Collaborates closely with accounting and controlling teams to ensure the accuracy, completeness and timely delivery of financial information.
