O&M CONTRACTS ANALYST 

Areas to Cover 
All business units, with focus on Venezuela, Norway, Spain and Latin America 

Position Description 
The Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Supply Chain Excellence Center (EXCE) requires an experienced contracts and supply chain professional to support O&M projects and services globally, ensuring safe, compliant and value-optimized contracting outcomes. 
 
The position reports to the O&M SCM EXCE Senior Manager and is based in Madrid. High interaction with team members and business stakeholders is expected, including alignment across time zones depending on business unit requirements. 
 
Key activities include developing annual procurement plans, creating and executing category-specific contracting strategies, running competitive tenders, leading negotiations, and partnering with internal stakeholders across the full contract lifecycle from award to close-out. 

Position Essentials 
- Solid understanding of O&M scopes and associated equipment/services markets. 
- Proven capability to lead end-to-end tendering and negotiations. 
- Strong commercial and contractual acumen. 
- Excellent stakeholder management skills. 
- Fluent in English and Spanish. 
- Flexible to work across time zones. 

Duties and Responsibilities 
- Develop procurement plans and contracting strategies. 
- Lead sourcing events (RFI/RFQ/RFP) in Ariba. 
- Define scopes of work and commercial models. 
- Build cost models and market intelligence. 
- Evaluate bids and prepare award recommendations. 
- Lead negotiations and secure approvals. 
- Draft and finalize contracts with key stakeholders. 
- Manage contract lifecycle in Icertis/SAP. 
- Handle variations, claims and dispute avoidance. 
- Drive value and savings tracking. 
- Monitor supplier performance. 
- Maintain audit-ready contract documentation. 
- Provide reporting and analytics. 
- Manage multiple projects effectively. 
Education / Qualifications 
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or similar. 
- Negotiation or MBA training preferred. 
- Supply Chain training advantageous. 
- Strong Microsoft Office skills. 
- Knowledge of SAP / Ariba. 

Experience & Knowledge 
- Minimum 5 years in Supply Chain/Contracts roles in Oil & Gas or similar industries. 
- Experience in O&M contracting. 
- Strong track record with complex contracts. 
- Knowledge of contract risk allocation. 
- Strong English and Spanish language skills.
