Warehouse Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

1.Supervise Warehouse Operations: Manage and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

2.Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate inventory records and minimizing discrepancies.

3.Safety and Compliance: Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company policies and health and safety regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.

4.Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise warehouse employees, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

5.Order Fulfillment: Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of orders, coordinating with the production and shipping departments to meet customer demands.

6.Warehouse Organization: Maintain an organized and clean warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and operational efficiency.

7.Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

8.Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on inventory levels, warehouse performance, and productivity metrics. Present findings to management.

9.Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanning devices.

10.Supplier Coordination: Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues that arise.



Qualifications:

1.High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.

2.Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

3.Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.

4.Excellent leadership and team management skills.

5.Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.

6.Ability to analyze data and generate reports.

7.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

8.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

9.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

10.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

11.Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.
