Job description

We are hiring a Virtual Production Technician to operate and maintain the Motion Capture Systems during Pre and Principal Production, ensuring all Virtual Production systems remain stable, efficient, and appropriately troubleshot according to the needs of the Engineering Team.
Responsibilities: Ongoing care and upkeep of Virtual Production and MoCap systems including cameras, tracking objects, cabling, and AV signal flow.
Collaborate with the camera department on set to carry out calibration workflows between takes or lens changes.
Assist with daily calibration of the mocap and LED volume and calibration of new tracking objects; troubleshoot and resolve calibration issues.
Efficiently communicate any changeover status or camera changes to the Virtual Production team.
Collaborating with the VP Supervisor, other operators, technicians and crew to achieve motion capture or general systems stability quality assurance.
Troubleshooting technical issues and implementing solutions to ensure uninterrupted operation of mocap systems and workstations.
Staying up to date with the latest developments and best practices in ICVFX mocap technology to enhance the quality and efficiency of Virtual Production workflows.
