Job Description Summary
The US Imaging Technologist applies the ultrasound imaging physics in performing routine and advanced US exams in accordance with established practices and procedures to ensure compliance with safety, environmental and infection control standards . US Imaging Technologist has the ability to differentiate between health and pathological areas and adjusting the scope of the exam accordingly.

Operational Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform with minimal supervision all the advanced Ultrasound procedures vascular OB Pediatrics
  • Apply the current standards in radiology to review and protocol and to adjust parameters maintain safety and obtain better image quality to improve throughput
  • Oversee the training and development of interns and junior technologist on advanced exams and procedures
  • Participate in all areas activities to maintain efficient operation equipment calibration troubleshooting quality control supplies and any other operational activity assigned by manager


Minimum Education Required
Bachelor Degree in Radiologic Science, or Ultrasound OR Master’s degree in Radiologic Science or Ultrasound with 2 years' experience

Professional Certifications Required
SCFHS Certification

Years of Experience
Minimum 4 years' clinical experience

Languages
English:Advanced ; Arabic:Basic
