Transport Coordinator

Ensure the proper handling, storage, and shipment of petroleum-based products, such as oil and fuel.

Responsible for the supervision and management, the reception, storage, security and shipping of bulk or packaged petroleum products.

Conducting full site lubrication surveys and presenting recommendations direct to the customer • Generating lubrication schedules based on correct products, volumes, dispense rates and energy efficiency • potentials • Providing sample analysis recommendations • Delivering customer and technician lubrication training • Providing front-line troubleshooting advice and intervention as required • Promoting lubrication best practices to support the growth of WP’s engineering services offer • Developing project implementation plans and delegating tasks to technical team • Representing the company in an appropriate manner when dealing with suppliers, customers and colleagues. • Ensuring adherence to team safety requirements, documentation and training and producing the highest standard of work possible in accordance with the company's ISO9001 procedures. • Carry out any other activities necessary for the smooth running of industrial lubricants function, assisting with implementation tasks as required • Inspecting, testing, receiving and protecting fuel supplies and bulk petroleum, petrochemical and chemical products; monitoring usage; enforcing safety standards and maintaining fuel logs and records. • Physically sampling, measuring, and taking the temperature of delivery trucks and storage tanks utilizing a variety of methods dictated by company and API procedures. • Calculating and reporting quantities transferred and performing full reconciliation of same. • Accurately completing all required reports and forms, including detailed work order documentation and ordering of all known material for maintenance activities.
