ABIS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Document Controller to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all technical documents related to projects, ensuring that documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders.
You will coordinate with engineering, project management, and other departments to facilitate efficient document flow and compliance with company and client standards.
Your role is crucial in supporting smooth project execution and maintaining proper records for audit and reference purposes.
Responsibilities Receive, register, and distribute technical documents according to the company’s document control procedures.
Maintain the document management system, ensuring all files are correctly archived and easily retrievable.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.
Ensure compliance with project and client documentation standards.
Prepare and maintain document logs, status reports, and distribution lists.
Assist in audits and inspections related to document control processes.
Provide training and support on document control procedures to team members as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or relevant, Engineering, Proven experience as a Document Controller or similar role, preferably in engineering or construction projects.
Familiarity with document management systems (DMS) and software such or equivalent.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Proficient in MS Office suite.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and procedures is a plus.
