Job Purpose

Leads delivery and execution of enterprise data and analytics solutions, overseeing BI, analytics, and data infrastructure teams to deliver accurate, integrated insights and align data initiatives with business goals.











Key Accountability Areas

Strategic Leadership in Data & Analytics:


  • Define and drive the overall data and analytics strategy aligned with the organization’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
  • Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide data initiatives, ensuring integration across BI, analytics, and data infrastructure functions.
  • Champion a data-driven culture by promoting the use of analytics in decision-making across business units.

Oversight of BI, Analytics, and Data Infrastructure:


  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights.
  • Guide the development of advanced analytics models and ensure their alignment with business needs.
  • Ensure robust architecture and governance of data warehouses and data lakes to support scalable and secure data operations.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:


  • Act as the primary liaison between the data & analytics function and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of data initiatives with business priorities.
  • Translate complex data concepts into business-friendly language to support executive decision-making.

Innovation and Technology Enablement:


  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and tools to enhance data capabilities across the organization.
  • Foster innovation by encouraging experimentation with new data methodologies, tools, and platforms.

Data Governance and Quality Assurance:


  • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Monitor data quality across systems and lead initiatives to improve data accuracy and reliability.

  • Ability to recruit, recognize and cultivate high performers and expose them in order to create a robust second line of management.
  • Ability to recognize low performers and guide them to improve or release them.

  • Ensure availability of delegation of authority matrix to have sufficient delegations as per company policy.

  • Provide periodic work progress reports.
  • Responsible for monitoring and controlling budgets and expenses to achieve the optimum cost efficiency.
  • Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans.
  • Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deploy them.
  • Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.
  • Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
  • Promote the automated systems and using them fully, to spread its culture.
