- Support testing and commissioning of Lighting Control, KNX, and GRMS systems.
- Assist in engineering activities, system configuration, site coordination, and handover.
- Review drawings, schedules, technical documents, and approved project requirements.
- Coordinate with site teams, vendors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- Ensure systems are delivered as per approved design, project specifications, and commissioning procedures.
- Review project specifications, BOQ, drawings, room layouts, lighting schedules, and system architecture.
- Study Lighting Control, KNX, and GRMS scope, devices, control philosophy, and integration requirements.
- Support preparation and review of shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documents.
- Review lighting control schedules, KNX topology, GRMS room layouts, device schedules, and control points.
- Assist in defining lighting scenes, dimming control, occupancy logic, daylight control, schedules, and control panels.
- Assist in defining GRMS room functions, including lighting scenes, thermostat, HVAC interface, curtains, DND/MUR, doorbell, and occupancy logic.
- Support KNX engineering activities, including device addressing, group address coordination, ETS programming support, and device commissioning.
- Support system software configuration for Lighting Control, KNX, and GRMS platforms.
- Configure and test controllers, sensors, actuators, touch panels, dimmers, relays, gateways, thermostats, and room control devices.
- Coordinate integration with BMS, HVAC, hotel systems, access control, metering, and other third-party systems.
- Support installation inspections, device checks, cable checks, termination checks, and panel readiness.
- Conduct testing and commissioning activities for Lighting Control, KNX, and GRMS systems.
- Perform point-to-point testing, device testing, scene testing, room testing, functional testing, and integrated system testing.
- Troubleshoot software, wiring, addressing, device, controller, gateway, and communication issues.
- Prepare testing records, inspection reports, punch lists, configuration backups, and commissioning documents.
- Follow up MIR, WIR, inspections, site comments, and corrective actions with project teams.
- Coordinate daily site activities with engineers, technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and commissioning teams.
- Support mock-up room testing, client demonstrations, consultant inspections, and final acceptance activities.
- Prepare as-built inputs, O&M manual inputs, test sheets, training support documents, and handover files.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality procedures, authority requirements, and HSE rules.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Controls, Automation, or related technical field.
- 2-3 years of experience in Lighting Control, KNX, GRMS, ELV, automation, or smart building systems.
- Hands-on experience in testing and commissioning of Lighting Control, KNX, and GRMS systems.
- Familiarity with engineering activities, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, schedules, and technical documentation.
- Basic to good knowledge of KNX engineering, ETS programming, group addressing, device commissioning, IP routers, actuators, sensors, and touch panels.
- Knowledge of Lighting Control systems, lighting scenes, dimming, relays, occupancy sensors, daylight sensors, schedules, and control panels.
- Knowledge of GRMS room control functions, including lighting, HVAC, thermostat, curtains, DND/MUR, doorbell, occupancy, and guest room scenes.
- Experience in software configuration, device addressing, controller setup, gateway configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with integration to BMS, HVAC, hotel systems, metering, access control, and third-party systems.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, risers, wiring diagrams, room layouts, device schedules, and system topology.
- Experience in site inspections, MIR/WIR follow-up, punch list closure, and commissioning documentation.
- Good troubleshooting skills for wiring, communication, software, controller, gateway, and field device issues.
- Good communication, coordination, reporting, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with project quality procedures, safety requirements, and site execution practices.
- KNX Partner certification or manufacturer certification in Lighting Control or GRMS systems is an advantage.
