Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and analytical Sustainability Officer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our organization, you will lead our sustainability efforts, develop and implement strategies to reduce our environmental impact, and drive sustainable business practices across the company.


  • Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies aligned with organizational goals and Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030
  • Lead and manage sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and resource conservation programs
  • Conduct sustainability assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Create and maintain environmental management systems to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
  • Prepare sustainability reports using recognized frameworks such as GRI or SASB
  • Collaborate with various departments to integrate sustainable practices into business operations
  • Analyze data and metrics to track progress and report on sustainability performance
  • Engage with stakeholders, including employees, customers, and community partners, to promote sustainability awareness and initiatives
  • Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in sustainability
  • Represent the organization at industry events and conferences related to sustainability

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or related field
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability strategies
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and sustainable business practices
  • Proficiency in environmental management systems and sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB)
  • Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Strong project management abilities
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and national sustainability goals
  • Professional certifications such as LEED AP or CSR-P are a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive change within an organization
