The Stock Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring stock accuracy and controlling stock aging, managing inventory movements, and conducting variance analysis across dark store operations.
This is an office-based role that requires close coordination with Operations, Commercial, and Distribution Center (DC) teams to maintain accurate inventory records and support operational efficiency.
The role includes monitoring inventory accuracy, tracking stock aging, reviewing daily stock levels, and identifying discrepancies that require investigation.
The specialist will also analyze reports, track inventory movements, and support continuous improvement of stock control processes.
Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain high levels of inventory accuracy Track and control stock aging Review daily inventory levels and investigate discrepancies Monitor and record all inventory movements (inbound, outbound, transfers, returns, adjustments) Conduct variance analysis between system stock and physical counts Investigate root causes of discrepancies and recommend corrective actions Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports and KPIs Coordinate with Operations, Commercial, and DC teams 2–3 years experience in stock control, inventory, or warehouse operations Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas and data analysis) Good level of English (reading, writing, and basic communication) Experience in WMS, ERP, or inventory systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
