The main purpose of the Sr. Engineer – Site (C&A)’s role is to manage a section of a construction project to provide technical advice and supervise work crews and subcontractors on site to ensure that their tasks are completed on time and within budget.

• Support the development of KSA national employees across the team to support corporate objectives, Saudization targets and the knowledge dissemination culture to ensure optimal building of internal capabilities and maximize their performance
• Provide inputs to Human Resources on succession planning, employee career growth, and organizational structure
• Manage and conduct the affairs of the team with the highest standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety and corporate governance
• Ensure compliance with Code of Ethics policy and adopting company values across all function’s employees and provide leadership to reinforce a strong people culture and ethical business practices
• Reinforce a strong people culture and ethical business practices
• Manage the adoption and utilization of systems and ERP in the team
• Supervise day-to-day responsibilities of the Section team in accordance with project plans within the company’s policies and procedures and meeting the approved budget
• Oversee related equipment operations at site and manage effective utilization
• Assess the Construction Manager in preparations of any variation order for to scope of works that could result from design or shop drawings approval by consultant or instructions from client
• Follow up with project consultant for approval on design, shop drawings and material submittals
• Report to the Construction Manager on the operational and financial status of the site section of project under his responsibility
• Monitor labor availability and calculate daily productivity to support project execution within budget and schedule
• Follow up on delivery and close out of project section in accordance to the contractual arrangements and the financial outcome based on agreed financial and commercial objectives
• Prepare and present weekly section summary reports for Construction Manager
• Assess Construction Manager to implement directions to achieve high satisfaction and a constructive relationship with clients
• Work with suppliers, subcontractors to establish detailed project plans which identify key milestones and deliverables
• Ensure health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being followed
• Oversee the implementation of the approved shop drawings as per specifications and standards 
• Support the Construction Manager in Preparation of all Inspection Requests by Consultant’s engineers
• Review the approved drawings, specifications and standards.
• Get the best productivity from his team and resources in order to meet all targets on time and within budget

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering
• 5 years of experience in construction sites
• Proficiency in written and spoken English (Arabic is a plus)
• Proficient in construction management.
• Knowledge in business advisory.
• Knowledge in QA/QC management.
• Knowledge in Project management.
• Knowledge in HSE management.
