Job Description:

Foreground is partnering with a leading, diversified holding group headquartered in Saudi Arabia, operating across multiple sectors with a strong focus on Hajj, Umrah, and hospitality services in Makkah and Madinah. Our client is recognized for driving strategic growth and transformation across its portfolio of subsidiaries, playing a critical role in shaping the future of the region's service and investment landscape.

About the Role

The Senior Investment Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the group's investment strategy, reporting directly to senior leadership within the investment function. This role is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities across core and adjacent sectors, with a focus on value creation, portfolio optimization, and long-term capital growth.

The successful candidate will bring strong analytical rigor, commercial acumen, and transaction experience, supporting both organic and inorganic growth initiatives while ensuring alignment with the group's broader strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end investment lifecycle, including origination, evaluation, execution, and portfolio management across multiple sectors.
  • Conduct detailed financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment structuring for potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investments.
  • Identify and assess new investment opportunities aligned with the group's strategic priorities, particularly within Hajj, Umrah, hospitality, and related service sectors.
  • Perform in-depth market research, industry analysis, and due diligence to support investment decisions.
  • Lead or support transaction processes, including negotiations, deal structuring, and coordination with legal, financial, and advisory stakeholders.
  • Prepare investment memos, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership, investment committees, and the board.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, providing ongoing analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations to enhance value creation.
  • Work closely with subsidiary leadership teams to drive post-investment integration, operational improvements, and performance optimization.
  • Support capital allocation decisions and portfolio rebalancing strategies to maximize returns and manage risk exposure.
  • Track macroeconomic trends, regulatory developments, and sector dynamics to inform investment strategy and pipeline development.
  • Contribute to the development of investment frameworks, governance processes, and reporting standards across the group.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, advisors, financial institutions, and strategic partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA, CFA, or other relevant postgraduate qualification is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in investment management, private equity, corporate finance, or M&A.
  • Proven track record in executing investments, transactions, and complex financial deals.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and investment analysis.
  • Experience working within a holding group, private equity firm, sovereign wealth fund, or large conglomerate is highly advantageous.
  • Prior exposure to Hajj/Umrah, hospitality, real estate, or service sectors in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of deal structuring, due diligence processes, and portfolio management best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
  • High level of commercial awareness and ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
  • Professional presence, with strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.
