Role Summary The Senior Document Controller is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all project documentation in accordance with established procedures, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timely flow of documents across all project phases.
The position supports the Senior Resident Engineer and project leadership by overseeing document control systems, coordinating with contractors and consultants, and ensuring compliance with project documentation requirements.
Key Responsibilities Manage, control, and maintain all project documentation in line with project procedures and quality standards.
Ensure proper filing, tracking, distribution, and archiving of documents for all project stakeholders.
Prepare and issue daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
Review contractor submissions, including progress reports, completion reports, and payment valuations.
Support early construction planning activities, including constructability reviews and site condition assessments.
Assist in preparing project procedures, quality plans, staffing schedules, and site infrastructure requirements.
Participate in early site mobilization and coordination of temporary facilities and essential services.
Attend and document weekly progress and technical meetings.
Maintain accurate records of technical discussions, correspondence, and project decisions.
Support the Senior Resident Engineer in reviewing contractor claims and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Prepare project close‑out documentation and final handover reports.
Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 10 years of experience in document control within PMC and construction building projects .
Strong knowledge of construction documentation standards, workflows, and reporting requirements.
Experience working with large‑scale building or infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in document control systems and MS Office applications.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
