Job Purpose
Ensure an effective Master Data Governance (MDG) product that supports alfanar’s global data strategy. Maintaining high-quality, compliant, and well-integrated master data across systems, enabling consistent, secure, and reliable data for enterprise operations.
Key Accountability Areas
Product Strategy & Vision:
- Define the product roadmap for enterprise data governance tools (e.g. Pilog, SAP MDG).
- Align with global data strategy and business objectives.
Master Data Process Ownership:
- Own end-to-end MDG product lifecycle.
- Implement governance rules, workflows, validations, and controls as per the business owners decisions.
Integration & Architecture:
- Oversee integration with SAP S/4HANA, Data Dictionary, APIs, data services, and legacy systems.
- Ensure compatibility across alfanar eco-system.
Data Quality & Cleansing:
- Recommend and implement upon business owner approval data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment initiatives.
- Partner with data stewards to maintain high-quality master data, qualify the dictionary.
Global Data Migration:
- Define migration strategy, mapping rules, transformation logic.
- Oversee cutover and mock tests for global rollouts.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as liaison between business, IT, and data teams.
- Collect requirements, manage and execute backlog, and prioritize features.
Risk & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to GDPR, SOX, internal policies, and data governance frameworks (ISO/DAMA).
Product Lifecycle Management:
- Responsible for delivering MDG product features, enhancements, and integrations on time.
- Ensure continuous improvements & innovation.
Role Accountability
HR Proficiency:
- Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.
Delivery:
- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
Problem-Solving:
- Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
Quality:
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
Business Process Improvements:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
Compliance:
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Information Mgmt. Sciences & Systems or Any relevant field
