About the role


As a Specialist in FP&A, you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving the company's financial strategy, providing advanced insights, and supporting executive decision-making in a high-growth SaaS and tech environment.


What you'll do


  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with accounting, operations, sales, and other departments to gather complex data, develop integrated financial models, and deliver strategic insights.
  • Provide expert financial analysis and leadership for high-impact special projects, initiatives, and strategic planning as directed by senior management and executive leadership.
  • Oversee the internal approval processes for budget submissions and actual consumption, ensuring strict alignment with budgetary guidelines, company policies, and procurement protocols.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, partnering with department heads toestablishambitious yet achievable financial targets and drive consensus across the organization.
  • Direct the preparation of comprehensive budget documentation and lead budget presentations to stakeholders and executive teams.
  • Own the development and maintenance of rolling forecasts, incorporating advanced scenario planning, historical data, market trends, and macroeconomic factors toanticipatefuture performance.
  • Conduct in-depth variance analysis,identifyingkey drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommending corrective actions to senior leadership.
  • Perform advanced profitability and cost-benefit analysis on products, services, customer segments, and business units to inform strategic investments and resource allocation.
  • Design and deliver executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and visualizations using advanced BI tools to communicate performance metrics, forecasts, and actionable insights.
  • Mentor and guide junior FP&A team members, fostering professional development and ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in a scaling tech environment.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is preferable.
  • Professional certifications such as CMA, CFA, or FMVA are highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A roles, with at least 5 years in a senior capacity.
  • Extensive experience preparing internal and external reports for SaaS and VC-backed companies, including company-level financial statements, key SaaS metrics (e.g., ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV), and investor reporting.
  • Proven track record in technology, solutions, and high-growth startups is strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in advanced financial modeling, valuation techniques, scenario analysis, and forecasting.
  • Mastery of Excel and financial software systems (e.g., ERP platforms, BI tools such as Tableau/Power BI, and SaaS-specific tools like Drivetrain or Adaptive Insights).
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into executive-ready recommendations.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience guiding teams or projects.
  • Proven ability to present complex financial insights to senior executives and influence decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently or leading initiatives with minimal oversight.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Demonstrates the highest levels of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
