The purpose of the position is to be responsible of of Bapco Upstream Emergency & Crisis Management Program. Provide guidance and support to the Bapco Upstream Emergency Managmenet Organization (EMO).
Develop plans and procedures, and provide training and advice on emergency response, crisis management, and fire protection issues to the workforce and senior management.
Ensure all emergency response capabilities (equipment and resources) are operationally ready and comply with local regulations and industry standards.
Serve as a technical advisor to the Emergency Operations Center, responding to emergencies and determining on-scene equipment/resource requirements and deployment strategies.
Develop and deliver emergency drills and exercises for all aspects of emergency response and crisis management.
Conduct studies and analyses to identify credible emergency events, including demographics, evacuation routes, protective actions and procedures, employee awareness, and emergency response.
Ensure site/facility alert, notification, and evacuation systems are in place, adequately maintained, and tested.
Ensure all emergency team members are familiar with the requirements of the BU emergency management system and risk-based emergency scenarios.
Oversee the maintenance and recording of all fire equipment and other emergency equipment.
Lead all emergency exercises in the field, taking charge of tactical response in consultation and coordination with BU operations management during emergencies.
Communicate and implement the BU risk-based emergency management plan effectively across all levels of the organization.
Develop, test, and maintain effective emergency communication protocols.
Coordinate activities of the emergency management section, including the emergency control room and field response team.
Establish effective operational command for major emergency situations.
Review drawings and documents related to fire and emergency management, such as fire suppression systems, firefighting equipment layouts, EERA, etc.
Deliver emergency management training for CMT, EMT, and FR.
Conduct tabletop exercises for EMT and CMT members to enhance preparedness and response capabilities.
Manage the budgeting and expenses of the section to ensure efficient use of resources.
Review tenders related to Emergency Management to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational goals.
Perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor to support departmental objectives and initiatives.
College Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline
