About the role We are looking for a Software Engineering Team Lead to join our organization.
In this role, you will be in charge of maintaining and enhancing our transaction monitoring modules.
Your responsibilities span three key areas: stewardship of a clean, healthy codebase (including fostering a fast, painless development process); delivery of an evolving roadmap to meet clients’ needs; and leadership of a team of engineers, holding to the highest standards and continually improving the team through hiring and mentoring.
You’ll own systems that sit on the critical path of how our clients catch financial crime.
What you'll do Shape the strategy for your team and the transaction monitoring modules it owns.
Guide and mentor an exceptional team of engineers, assisting them in shaping their individual careers, while keeping the team cohesive.
Build scalable and reliable services through ever-improving engineering process.
Collaborate with product managers to lead team projects, managing stakeholders, dependencies, roadmaps, alignment, and cost.
Actively contribute to the evolution of our overall architecture, particularly for systems and products managed by your team.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
5+ years of software engineering experience, including some experience leading or mentoring engineers.
Proficiency in building complex, high-quality applications, with strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and microservice architecture.
Demonstrate expertise in selecting design patterns and principles when developing software architecture.
A detail-oriented communicator who works well autonomously and thrives in a fast-moving team.
