Role Overview:
The Signaling Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and safety of
railway signaling systems through effective maintenance strategies, fault analysis, and technical
leadership. The role focuses on optimizing system performance in an operational railway
environment.
 


Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain signaling system performance.
L1&L2 investigation of signaling failures and perform root cause analysis.
Perform and review maintenance procedures, checklists, and schedules.
Perform and supervise field maintenance activities.
Analyze system logs to identify faults.
Coordinate with traffic controller and maintenance teams during incidents and service
disruptions.
Support emergency response and restoration activities (including shift/on-call if
required).
Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintenance procedures, and regulatory
requirements.
Identify improvement opportunities and propose technical solutions (modifications,
upgrades).
Prepare technical reports, failure analysis reports, and performance dashboards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following:
Electrical Engineering
Electronics Engineering
Computer Engineering
Railway Engineering (preferred)
Saudi National (must).
