The Senior Technical Office Engineer is responsible for managing cost control, tendering, contract administration, and financial coordination across development projects, ensuring commercial accuracy and contractual compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents.
Conduct technical and financial evaluation of contractor quotations.
Manage contractor payments, invoices, claims, and variation orders.
Prepare project cash flow forecasts and cost control reports.
Coordinate between consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Review shop drawings and ensure alignment with specifications.
Monitor project budgets and forecast financial performance.
Ensure compliance with contractual and cost control procedures.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Certification in contracts or cost management (preferred).
Experience 8–12 years of experience in technical office, cost control, or quantity surveying roles.
Experience in commercial, residential, and villa projects preferred.
Knowledge Strong knowledge of contracts, tendering, and cost control systems.
Familiarity with FIDIC and contractual frameworks.
Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Skills Advanced proficiency in Excel and cost control software.
Strong analytical and financial evaluation skills.
Ability to interpret contractual clauses and commercial risks.
Strong coordination and negotiation skills.
Traits Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Commercially aware and financially disciplined.
