The Senior Manager - Development Audit at Qiddiya Investment Company will be responsible for leading and managing the audit function across development projects to ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
This leadership role involves executing comprehensive audit plans, driving internal control assessments, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance governance and risk management.
The Senior Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to strengthen the control environment, optimize processes, and support the achievement of Qiddiya’s ambitious development objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute risk-based audits across capital project activities.
Review governance, processes, and control environments related to development such as design and delivery functions.
Review cost-related practices and financial controls within capital projects.
Evaluate alignment with approved policies, procedures, and governance requirements.
Identify key risks and translate them into clear audit observations and recommendations.
Engage with relevant stakeholders to support audit execution and follow-up.
Contribute to the enhancement of audit methodologies, tools, and practices.
Support audit planning, risk assessment, and continuous improvement activities.
Assist with capability building and knowledge sharing within Internal Audit.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Governance, Project Management, or related field.
Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant audit experience, in capital projects, consulting, or advisory roles.
preferably within large-scale development or construction projects.
A strong understanding of project governance, delivery, and cost management is required, with professional certifications such as PMP or PMI-RMP preferred, along with strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing audit teams.
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex project environment.
