Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems across production and development environments.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure.
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, and security hardening.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, network, and application issues.
  • Manage user access, permissions, and system security policies.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Collaborate with DevOps, network, and security teams to optimize infrastructure.
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  • Maintain system documentation, procedures, and configurations.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in Linux system administration.
  • Strong experience with major Linux distributions (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef) is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Relevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, or equivalent.
