PurposeYou will provide instrumentation & controls engineering services on large or mega projects to Worley's and its customers', including technical support and supervision within the instrumentation & controls engineering team.


  • Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and is recognized as specialist in Instrumentation & Control Systems engineering field on large to mega Engineering projects.
  • Coordinates with project discipline and lead engineers to ensure correct implementation of the design for his engineering specialty and coordinates the work of engineers within his specialty.
  • Prepares and reviews engineering studies, design drawings and documents, and material and equipment specifications.
  • Resolves specialty related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications. 

Qualifications 


  • A recognized and relevant engineering degree.
  • Participated in HAZOP, PHA, HIPS, SIS, SIL, Value engineering, Constructability, Model Review, Lesson learned workshops.
  • Knowledge and experience working with instrumentation & control systems such as process instrumentation, RTU, SCADA, Fire & Gas, Hydraulic ESD Systems & Valves.
  • Hands on experience in design calculations and system studies.
  • Experience in Procurement support is required for RFQ, TBE and Vendor Document Reviews.
  • Involved in construction support in technical queries, field verifications and handling LSTK/LTA Contractors.
  • Advanced knowledge of International and Saudi Aramco Standards.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications in engineering; management, project management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent.
  • Excellent technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its clients.
  • Excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the instrumentation & controls engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
  • Excellent knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications.
  • Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and instrumentation & controls engineering specific software.
  • Extensive technical and practical experience in instrumentation & controls engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
