We are looking for an experienced Senior HSE Inspector to support HSE supervision activities on major infrastructure and utility projects in Jeddah. Candidates must have strong consultant supervision experience and a proven track record in enforcing HSE standards on active construction sites.
Carry out daily site safety inspections to ensure compliance with approved HSE plans, method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
Monitor contractor activities and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards throughout all phases of construction.
Lead investigation of incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, issuing corrective and preventive measures.
Review contractor HSE documentation, including toolbox talks, emergency response plans, and audit reports.
Verify PPE usage, workforce training records, and HSE competency certifications.
Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, HSE statistics, and weekly/monthly KPI reports for client submission.
Conduct HSE audits and participate in emergency drills and safety meetings.
Coordinate with project management, consultants, contractors, and local authorities on HSE compliance matters.
Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure continuous improvement across all project teams.
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
5–10 years of HSE experience, with at least 3–5 years in consultant supervision.
HSE certification: NEBOSH IGC (mandatory). Additional HSE training/certifications will be an advantage.
Solid knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations, municipal safety standards, and international HSE management systems (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 / OSHA).
Previous experience on utility, road, pipeline, or infrastructure projects within KSA is preferred.
Strong communication, reporting, and inspection skills.
