JASARA PMC is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior HSE Engineer to lead and strengthen our health, safety, and environmental initiatives across projects.
In this senior role, you will oversee the development and enforcement of HSE policies, driving safety culture and compliance within the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental management systems.
Conduct advanced risk assessments, site audits, and inspections to identify hazards and recommend mitigation strategies.
Investigate major incidents, prepare detailed reports, and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Provide expert guidance and training to teams and management to ensure HSE compliance and best practices.
Monitor and ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations and standards.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to embed HSE principles throughout all project phases.
Prepare and present HSE performance reports to senior management and recommend improvements.
Stay updated on emerging HSE trends, regulations, and technologies to maintain industry-leading practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HSE roles, with proven leadership in the construction or infrastructure sector.
Comprehensive knowledge of HSE laws, standards, and risk management principles.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
Experience in conducting complex investigations, audits, and training programs.
Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are highly preferred.
