Job description

· Design, review, and approve MV/LV electrical systems, including RMUs, transformers, MDBs, SMDBs, and DBs.
· Develop clean power systems for sensitive equipment (isolated grounding, UPS, harmonic filters).
· Design earthing and bonding systems compliant with EMI/EMC laboratory requirements.
· Ensure segregation of clean and dirty power systems to avoid interference.
· Design lighting systems (general + specialized lab lighting) considering flicker, EMI implact, and lux requirements.
· Develop calble routing strategis (shielded calbes, tray segregation, EMC compliance).
· Integrate lightning protection systems with proper grounding coordination.
· Design and review ELV systems interface (Firealarm, BMS, SCADA) ensuring EMI compliance.
· Idnetity and migrate electrical noise sources and interference paths.
· Ensure compliance with CISPR, IEC, IEEE standards for EMC · Review shielding effectiveness and grounding topology for test chambers.
· Coordinate with mechanical team to avoid HVAC-induced EMI issues.
· Design for power supply for dynamometers, test benches, high-load industrial equipment.
· Integrate MCCs, VFDs and control panels.
· Ensure stable power supply under dynamic load conditions.
· Review shop drawings and method statements · Conduct site inspections to verify installation compliance · Resolve RFIs and technical queries.
· Validate testing and commissioning works · Witness FAT, SAT and commissioning activities · Ensure power quality (THD, harmonics, voltage dips) meets design criteria.
· Coordinate with mechanical, process and civil teams.
· Lead electrical engineers and supervise contractors · Support BIM coordination and clash detection.
· Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering · 8+ years of experience in industrial or laboratory projects (EMI/EMC preferred).
· Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 70E, IEC, IEEE and CISPR standards.
· Strong knowledge of power systems (MV/LV), Earthing & lightning protection.
· Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP or equivalent.
· Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems.
· Strong troubleshooting and commissioning experience.
· Professional engineering certification preferred.
