The Senior Ball Valve Design Engineer leads advanced engineering projects for the
development of ball valves, oƯering technical leadership and mentoring to junior
engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, standard-compliant, and cost-
eƯective designs.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead design and development of advanced and customized ball valves including
high-pressure, high-temperature, and sour service applications.
Approve and review engineering documents, drawings, and calculations.
Perform advanced FEA/CFD simulations and torque calculations.
Interface with clients for technical clarifications and support in bidding/proposal
stages.
Drive innovation and cost reduction in valve design.
Lead product testing, qualification (FAT, PR2, fire tests), and certification activities.
Mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to best engineering practices and
documentation control.
Provide engineering support during manufacturing, assembly, and troubleshooting.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
7–15+ years of experience in valve design, specifically in ball valves
(floating/trunnion).
Deep understanding of international codes and standards (API 6D, 6A, ISO, ASME).
Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD), FEA (Ansys), and engineering
documentation.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
