As a Senior Corrosion Engineer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess corrosion risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement solutions that enhance the longevity and performance of our clients' assets.
Key Responsibilities: Lead corrosion control initiatives, ensuring projects meet technical and safety standards Design and execute comprehensive corrosion management plans Conduct in-depth corrosion inspections and assessments to identify vulnerabilities Recommend tailored corrosion mitigation techniques, involving design alterations and material choices Track and analyze corrosion rates, adjusting prevention measures as necessary Perform thorough investigations into corrosion failures and determine root causes Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation regarding corrosion control methodologies Engage with clients and partners to solve corrosion-related issues and assure regulatory compliance Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering At least 15 years of experience in corrosion engineering Professional certifications such as NACE, API or RBI are highly desirable Comprehensive understanding of corrosion theory, techniques, and materials Proficient in executing corrosion inspections and analyses Experience with corrosion modeling software and relevant tools Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities Exceptional communication and teamwork skills Self-motivated with the capacity to lead projects independently Willingness to travel as job demands
