The project:
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of world-class assets supporting major sporting events, including the development of multiple stadiums. Mace is at the forefront of this landmark program with a highly motivated client organisation and seeks results-driven professionals to join our exceptional teams, driving excellence at every stage of these high-profile projects.
You’ll be responsible for:
Lead the BMS design development in coordination with the lead design consultants across all RIBA stages (from Concept through Technical), ensuring alignment with national design guidelines and the implementation of operational frameworks for BMS and associated control systems.
Manage full lifecycle delivery of BMS, IBMS, PLC-SCADA, and energy management systems, from concept design to commissioning and handover.
Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with FIFA Venue Requirements, SBC, EXPRO 2030, and other relevant standards.
Oversee design reviews, tender documentation, evaluation, and contract administration.
Supervise construction, testing, commissioning, and systems integration (MSI), ensuring readiness for major events.
Drive implementation of CAFM/CMMS platforms, digital twin solutions, and asset management procedures.
Ensure integration of control systems with national command centers and unified platforms.
Conduct functional verifications, FAT/UAT, and support operational planning for tournament delivery.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams, ensuring timely and quality design delivery.
Support business development activities and stakeholder engagement across ministries, federations, and global partners.
You’ll need to have:
Carrying out the duties of designated Senior BMS SME for the project.
Exposure to Design Review, Design Management methodologies & delivery;
Leadership of Inter-disciplinary coordination with other design specialities.
Demonstrates capability of coordination, working-out mitigation measures and opportunities leading to value engineering as part of Stadium BMS Design.
Successful interaction with a range of key stakeholders and Design consultant, Project Management, Procurement team etc.
Degree or equivalent with professional work experience in BMS discipline with minimum 20 years of experience in one or more specific disciplines in the Programme, Project or Design Management disciplines
Additional qualifications:
Conversant with CAD / BIM.
Knowledge of Best practice Industry Codes & Standards.
Exposure to LEED / sustainability principles.
Work Experience – Sports projects.
