DEPARTMENT: TS - MSSEMPLOYMENT
TYPE: Work Visa
DUTY HOURS: 08 Hours per Day | 6 Days per Week
LOCATION: As per Project / Site Requirement
SALARY: SAR 5,000 + FAT (Food, Accommodation, Transportation)
JOB SUMMARY
The Scaffolder Inspector is responsible for inspecting, supervising, and ensuring the safe erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures in compliance with SABIC standards, approved drawings, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements. The role ensures that all scaffolding activities meet safety regulations, quality standards, and operational requirements at industrial and petrochemical sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Scaffolding Inspection
Inspect scaffolding structures before, during, and after erection, modification, and dismantling to ensure compliance with SABIC standards, approved designs, load requirements, and safety regulations.
2. Supervision of Scaffolding Activities
Supervise scaffolding operations on-site to ensure safe work practices are followed and that scaffolding materials, components, and accessories meet required quality and safety standards.
3. Safety Audits & Risk Assessment
Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments related to scaffolding activities to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
4. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate inspection records, tagging systems, checklists, and reports as per SABIC procedures and HSE documentation requirements.
5. Training & Guidance
Provide guidance and on-the-job training to scaffolders regarding safe erection, modification, dismantling, and proper use of scaffolding systems.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of scaffolding standards and safety regulations
Understanding of load-bearing capacities and scaffold design principles
Familiarity with HSE requirements, PTW systems, and industrial safety practices
Ability to identify unsafe conditions and enforce corrective measures
QUALIFICATION
Education:
Technical Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Scaffolding, Civil Engineering, or Industrial Safety.
