Rotating Equipment Supervisor – AMIRAL Project
📍 Location: Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

🌍 Project Background As part of the AMIRAL Petrochemical Project, developed by Saudi Aramco and TotalEnergies within the SATORP joint venture, we are looking for an experienced Rotating Equipment Supervisor to support construction activities on a world‑class integrated petrochemical complex.
The AMIRAL project includes a world-scale mixed-feed steam cracker (3.5 Mt/y), large downstream petrochemical units, utilities, offsites, storage facilities and infrastructure. The construction phase represents over 100 million man-hours with a workforce peaking at 25,000 people, making it one of the largest industrial projects currently under execution.
🎯 Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Construction team, the Rotating Equipment Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all rotating equipment construction and installation activities, ensuring full compliance with HSE, quality, technical and schedule requirements.
Main duties include:
  • Supervising field installation of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, fans, packaged units, etc.).
  • Reviewing and commenting on Contractors’ Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Method Statements and construction schedules.
  • Ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs and HSE requirements.
  • Coordinating with other disciplines (Piping, Civil, E&I) to manage interfaces and resolve site issues.
  • Monitoring progress, identifying deviations, and reporting to the Superintendent / Package Manager.
  • Participating in inspections, RFIs, construction audits and coordination meetings.
  • Preparing punch lists and following up on the close‑out of outstanding items.
  • Verifying acceptance dossiers and ensuring all quality documentation is properly compiled and filed.
  • Supporting construction close‑out activities and contributing to lessons learned.
✅ Profile & Qualifications
  • Technical training or degree in Mechanical / Rotating Equipment
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in rotating equipment construction supervision or similar roles
  • Strong background in refining and/or petrochemical projects
  • Proven hands-on site experience during construction and installation phases
  • Solid knowledge of HSE requirements for major industrial projects
  • Fluent English mandatory (French is an asset)
  • Knowledge of TotalEnergies and/or Saudi Aramco standards is a strong plus
  • Excellent organizational, coordination and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a demanding, multicultural and international environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
