Resident Engineer - Mechanical - Utilities

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer – Mechanical (Utilities) to lead and oversee mechanical works on a major infrastructure supervision project in Jeddah. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution, compliance, and delivery of utility-related mechanical systems in line with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.

• Lead the supervision of mechanical utility works on site, ensuring compliance with design drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders for smooth project execution
• Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals
• Monitor construction progress, quality, and safety of mechanical installations
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and resolve technical issues on site
• Conduct inspections and ensure works are executed as per approved standards and codes
• Manage reporting, documentation, and progress updates to the client
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 12–18 years of experience in mechanical engineering within infrastructure projects
• Mandatory experience with engineering consultants in a supervision role
• Proven experience on utility/infrastructure projects (pipelines, pumping stations, networks, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of international standards and construction practices
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC preferred
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
