Role Overview:


A Renovation Field Support Engineer provides technical, and project support during renovation of existing equipment, systems, or facilities. The role ensures corrective and renovation work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in alignment with engineering standards.


Key Responsibilities


Technical Support
  • Perform site assessments to evaluate existing system conditions before renovation.
  • Provide troubleshooting support to field teams and contractors during renovation work.
  • Recommend engineering solutions or upgrades based on site findings.
     
Quality & Safety Compliance
  • Enforce safety standards and verify that field work complies with applicable regulations.
  • Conduct quality inspections and ensure proper documentation for renovation activities.
  • Identify risks and propose corrective actions.
     
Communication & Reporting
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, site visit summaries, and progress updates.
  • Communicate challenges, solutions, and timeline adjustments to stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in vertical transportation specific to renovation/modernization project processes.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, and schematics.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities alongside Customer‑focused mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure in field environments.
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills.
  • Experience with field service management systems.
  • Basic project management tools (MS Project, Excel, etc.).
