Key Responsibilities- Perform quality control inspections on electrical installations including cabling, panels, switchgear, and instrumentation systems
- Ensure all electrical works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC)
- Prepare and review Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and quality procedures
- Conduct site inspections and monitor ongoing electrical works to ensure quality compliance
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and consultants for inspection schedules and approvals
- Maintain QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and test records
- Witness and verify electrical testing such as insulation resistance, continuity, and functional tests
- Identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality policies at site
- Participate in internal and external audits and ensure proper documentation
Essential Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E / B.Tech)
- QA/QC Certification (Preferred)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA/QC Electrical works (Oil & Gas / Construction preferred)
- Experience in GCC countries, especially Saudi Arabia, is an added advantage
Required Skills- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation, and testing procedures
- Familiarity with international standards such as IEC, IEEE, NEC
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Experience in preparing QA/QC documentation and reports
- Strong inspection and auditing skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
