Job Overview
Freyssinet Saudi Arabia is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA QC Architecture Engineer to join our dynamic team. This full-time role, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is critical to upholding our commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing the quality assurance and quality control systems for all architectural aspects of our diverse construction projects, ensuring that all work meets stringent quality standards, specifications, and client expectations.
Responsibilities



  • Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plan for all architectural works.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify that construction activities comply with approved architectural drawings, specifications, and industry best practices.
  • Review and approve architectural materials, method statements, and shop drawings submitted by subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Identify and document any non-conformances, issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensuring that effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with project managers, consultants, and construction teams to address and resolve any quality-related issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including inspection records, test reports, and quality audit findings.
  • Ensure all architectural finishes and installations meet the required quality standards and project requirements.
  • Participate in project meetings to report on quality performance and provide expert input on architectural matters.
  • Promote a strong culture of quality and safety awareness throughout the project team and among all stakeholders.

Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience working as a QA/QC Engineer with a specific focus on architectural elements within the construction industry, preferably on large-scale projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of architectural materials, construction methods, and international building codes and standards.
  • Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Excellent inspection, auditing, and analytical skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, including AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic would be a significant advantage.
