Production Manager

The objective of the position:

Oversee all production and manufacturing operations to ensure the achievement of operational goals in terms of quality, quantity, time, and cost, while improving efficiency, reducing waste, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities:

: Manage production operations

• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
• Ensure the execution of the production plan according to the specified timelines.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, waste, and downtime.
• Enhance operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

: Quality management

• Ensure compliance with established quality standards.
• Coordinate with quality management to address issues and complaints.
• Implement quality systems such as ISO or GMP (depending on the nature of the activity).

: Resource management

• Manage work teams in production departments.
• Identify requirements for raw materials and supplies.
• Oversee equipment maintenance in coordination with the maintenance department.
• Manage production budget and control costs.

: Occupational safety and health

• Ensure compliance with occupational safety procedures.
• Reduce risks and incidents within the plant.
• Train employees on safety systems.

: Continuous development and improvement

• Apply lean manufacturing principles.
• Analyze causes of breakdowns and production issues and propose solutions.
• Develop team skills and enhance their efficiency.
