Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer with a strong background in construction or swimming pool projects .
The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely procurement of quality materials in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Manage procurement activities for construction and swimming pool materials (civil, MEP, filtration systems, pumps, tiles, chemicals, accessories, etc.
) Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with approved budgets Coordinate with project, site, and engineering teams to understand material requirements Ensure timely delivery of materials to sites as per project schedules Monitor inventory levels and control material wastage Verify supplier invoices and coordinate with finance for timely payments Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and local regulations Handle material submittals, approvals, and technical compliance where required Qualifications & Knowledge Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong understanding of procurement best practices and regulations.
Experience Minimum of 6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
Experience in handling contracts and supplier negotiations.
Skills & Competencies Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
