Wood is recruiting a Process Engineer student to work with the WOOD Team under the Process Engineering department. This will give you the opportunity to work on a wide range of Wood Projects.

Responsibilities:

Have interest in the oil / gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries.
Resolve specialty related engineering issues by applying accepted engineering sense, principles, codes, and standards.
Contribute to the technical delivery of engineering excellence through the execution of assigned scopes of work in their specific engineering discipline.
Assist in the development of engineering deliverables including philosophies, reports, specifications, calculations, data sheets, and technical requisitions relating to specific scopes of work.
Solve problems of a routine nature within clearly defined procedures and with ready access to support and guidance
Applies academic knowledge to project responsibilities under close supervision of more experienced technical professionals, performing routine aspects of engineering assignments requiring a knowledge of basic engineering standards using prescribed standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.



Qualifications:
  •  Chemical Engineering Students.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret technical information applicable to their discipline of engineering.
  • Demonstrates the application of theory in a practical context to develop engineered solutions.
  • Good communication, reporting and presentation skills including the ability to converse in the English language.
  • Strong organizational skills and provides attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated and demonstrates personal initiative.
  • Possesses integrity, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and is dependable.
  • Team player that works well and collaborates with supervisors, subordinates, peers and clients. 
  • High level of awareness and commitment to safety in all aspects of personal daily activities.
