Job description

Responsible for processing payroll and maintain accurate and updated payroll information to ensure employees of Al Borg are paid the right amount on time.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Perform day-to-day activities related to payroll function in accordance to Al Borg’s policies and procedures.
  • Collect, calculate, and enter data into the payroll system in order to maintain accurate payroll information on Mena ITech.
  • Accurate input of regular/ad-hoc payroll adjustments.
  • Check and resolve any payroll discrepancy before submitting payroll report for final approval.
  • Liaise with HR Services for new hires and leavers and ensure system is updated accordingly.
  • Check the payslips on Mena ITech and ensure it reflects the correct data.
  • Handle any issues/queries and answer any questions on payroll matters.
  • Collect and ensure the accuracy of employee timesheets and update the payroll system accordingly.
  • Ensure complying with labor law regulations and Al Borg policies and procedures related to payroll.
  • Provide relevant reports to HR Service Manager as required.
  • Calculate final settlements as notified by HR Services, recover any loan balances etc.
  • Calculate and process emergency manual payments as required.
  • Perform other tasks, when assigned and only required.
