Pavement SME

The Pavement Subject Matter Expert (SME) is an essential role within the Facilities & Property Management sector, specifically in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This position requires specialized knowledge in pavement engineering, particularly in airport environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the durability and safety of pavement structures at airport facilities, contributing to the overall efficiency of air transport infrastructure. The Pavement SME will collaborate with various stakeholders, including airport authorities, engineers, contractors, and city planners, to develop and implement effective pavement management strategies tailored for airport operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing airport pavement conditions to determine maintenance and repair requirements.
2. Develop and implement pavement management plans that adhere to aviation industry standards and best practices.
3. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during the design and construction phases of airport pavement projects.
4. Monitor and analyze pavement performance data specific to airport operations to inform decision-making processes.
5. Collaborate with airport authorities and stakeholders to ensure compliance with aviation regulations and standards.
6. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on airport pavement conditions and recommended actions.
7. Stay updated on emerging technologies and materials in pavement engineering relevant to airport applications.
