Job description

  • Prepare a wide variety of desserts including cakes, pastries, mousses, tarts, cookies, and other confections for events and catering orders.Design customized dessert menus based on client preferences, dietary restrictions, and event themes.
  • Ensure consistent quality, portion control, and presentation standards across all products.
  • Innovate and test new dessert recipes and seasonal offerings to enhance the catering menu.
  • Manage inventory of dessert ingredients and baking supplies; ensure freshness and quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards in the pastry kitchen.
  • Collaborate with event coordinators and culinary team to ensure seamless service during catering events.
  • Monitor and minimize food waste, ensuring cost-efficiency and proper storage.
  • Train and supervise junior pastry staff or assistants when needed.
