The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and timely receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipment of goods.
This role manages warehouse teams, drives operational efficiency, ensures safety and compliance, and maintains high standards of inventory control, cost management, and customer service.
Plan, manage, and oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and team leaders to achieve productivity, quality, and safety targets Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system controls Monitor and improve warehouse KPIs such as productivity, order accuracy, service level, and cost efficiency Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies Manage labor planning, shift scheduling, and warehouse budgets Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operating costs Coordinate with logistics, procurement, customer service, and IT teams to support supply chain objectives Oversee proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and WMS Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field 5–8 years of warehouse or distribution operations experience Minimum 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and logistics processes Proven leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills Experience managing KPIs, labor planning, and operational budgets Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
