The NDT Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of materials and structures within the civil engineering sector. This position involves overseeing non-destructive testing (NDT) processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and leading a team of technicians. The NDT Supervisor is responsible for implementing testing protocols, analyzing results, and providing recommendations based on findings. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate non-destructive testing activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Develop and implement NDT procedures and protocols to enhance testing accuracy and efficiency.
- Train and mentor NDT technicians on best practices and safety procedures.
- Review and analyze test results, preparing detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained according to industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address any quality issues identified during testing.
- Conduct regular audits of NDT processes to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of testing activities and results for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Participate in project meetings to provide insights on NDT-related concerns and solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest NDT technologies and methodologies to improve testing processes.

- Proven experience in non-destructive testing within the civil engineering sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Relevant certifications in NDT methods (e.g., RT, UT, MT, PT).
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to NDT.
- Proficiency in using NDT equipment and software.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
