Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading global FMCG food company based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee plant maintenance operations, ensuring optimal equipment performance, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead maintenance execution across the facility, ensuring high equipment reliability, reduced downtime, and alignment with production priorities while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for production and utility equipment.

- Ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability by minimizing breakdowns and optimizing maintenance strategies.

- Coordinate closely with production, engineering, and planning teams to align maintenance schedules with operational needs.

- Track and improve maintenance KPIs such as response time, backlog, and asset uptime.

- Supervise maintenance facilities including workshops, tools, and infrastructure to ensure operational readiness.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using techniques such as root cause analysis (RCA) and lean methodologies.

- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, reports, and technical records.

- Manage spare parts inventory, stock control, and ensure timely availability of critical components.

- Coordinate with third-party service providers and ensure timely and quality execution of external maintenance work.

- Support maintenance planning and scheduling processes, ensuring effective resource allocation.

- Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team, identifying training needs and building technical capabilities.

- Foster a culture of accountability, discipline, and high performance within the team.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Procurement, Finance, HR, Quality, and HSE for smooth operations.

- Liaise with external vendors, OEMs, contractors, and regulatory authorities as required.

- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards, policies, and legal requirements.

- Promote a strong safety culture through regular audits, training, and awareness initiatives.

- Participate in risk assessments, incident investigations, and implementation of corrective actions.

- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices across all maintenance activities.

- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Food Safety Management System.

- Identify potential food safety hazards and ensure effective preventive and corrective measures.

- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene standards.

- Participate in audits, training programs, and food safety reviews.


Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setup (FMCG/food industry preferred).

- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.

- Experience with maintenance planning and ERP systems (SAP PM preferred).

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of continuous improvement tools (Kaizen, RCA) applied to execution.


- Ability to perform in a fast-paced industrial environment.

- Maintains clear communication and strong coordination to support seamless operational workflows.
