About the job Maintenance Senior Planner
  • Engineering degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial).
  • 10+ years' experience in spares & maintenance planning in a Steel Manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in SAP PM and MM module.
  • Support in setting the budget and monitoring the spending and utilization of spares/materials and ensure coordination among all the maintenance units when implementing the plan.
  • Organize and control all maintenance planning activities for the integrated steel plant in a reliability centered approach.
  • Organize, prepare, issue, and monitor for spares, manpower, special tools required for all planned maintenance schedules including major plant shutdowns.
  • Monitors the effectiveness of planned maintenance activities and recommend/implement changes as required.
  • Monitor the compliance of the maintenance units to the preventive schedule.
  • Monitor the corrective interventions required.
  • Support in setting overall budget for the maintenance department.
  • Raise and follow up purchase requisitions and delivery for spares, consumables, tools & tackles.
  • Monitor the utilization of the maintenance spare parts and ensure efficiency and optimization.
  • Create and maintain records for repair, overhaul and manufacture of spare parts required by the plant sub-section.
  • Report on the maintenance department overall state to his supervisor and point out issues and recommend corrective actions.
