The project:
Mace is providing strategic project management consultancy for major new build stadiums, multiple stadium redevelopments and wider precinct transformations in Riyadh. The scope includes the delivery of new stadiums, increasing existing stadia capacity, delivering major mixed-use amenities and introducing robust knowledge-transfer to ensure operational excellence and long-term sustainability beyond construction.
 


You’ll be responsible for:


  • Provides expert input during design reviews, value engineering sessions, and constructability assessments for stadium-specific landscape elements.


  • Develops innovative outdoor spatial concepts that align with client goals, budget constraints, and visual aspirations, translating stakeholder vision into actionable design strategies.


  • Integrates landscape planning with operational needs, ensuring effective crowd flow, security, universal accessibility (ADA compliance), and event-day functionality.


  • Leads comprehensive design management, overseeing schedules, interdisciplinary coordination, and budget control throughout all project phases.


  • Supervises design execution, specifying materials, vegetation, and structural components while ensuring adherence to safety regulations and construction standards.


  • Aligns landscape documentation with EPMO governance, reporting structures, and stakeholder engagement protocols for seamless project delivery.


  • Maintains proactive client engagement, facilitating communication, gathering feedback, and resolving challenges throughout the design process.


  • Collaborates closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure cohesive integration between landscape and architectural systems, validating final deliverables through rigorous quality assurance.


You’ll need to have:


  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Landscape Architecture, with over 20 years of experience in Programme, Project, or Design Management.


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a strong portfolio of stadium, sports, or large public venue projects.


  • Professional accreditation in landscape or related disciplines.
