Job description

  • Supervise daily operations of the on-site laundry facility, ensuring timely and hygienic processing of staff uniforms, bed linens, kitchen cloths, and other textiles.
  • Assign tasks and oversee laundry staff to maintain productivity and high cleanliness standards.
  • Monitor all laundry cycles — washing, drying, folding, ironing, and distribution — ensuring compliance with HACCP and company’s operational guidelines.
  • Inspect cleaned items for stains, damage, or wear, and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Maintain records of laundry quantities, usage, and damaged or discarded items.
  • Manage inventory of laundry chemicals, detergents, and supplies; submit requisitions for restocking as needed.
  • Train laundry staff on equipment usage, chemical handling, safety procedures, and company protocols.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of laundry machines; report and follow up on technical issues.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and catering departments to meet uniform and linen requirements efficiently.
  • Implement environmental best practices, including efficient use of water and energy in laundry operations.

Skills

  • Minimum 2–4 years of laundry operations experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, preferably in catering, hospitality, or remote site services.
  • Supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
