The L2 Support Engineer (OSS) provides advanced technical support for Operations Support Systems used in telecom or IT service environments.

Candidate profile
  • Computer Science (or Software/Computer/Telecom Engineering) degree.
  • Telecom industry experience (on operator or vendor side).
  • OSS hands-on experience (L2 support / Application support / OSS operations).
  • Strong technical troubleshooting (SQL, Linux, logs, APIs, scripting).
  • Fluency in English; Arabic speaking is a strong advantage.
  • Based in Dammam.
Your responsibilities
  • Technical support (L2) for customers, analysis and resolution of software errors reported by technical staff of operators (telecom/network providers).
  • Resolving bugs from test environments as well as occasional retests of the bugfixes.
  • Handling tickets in the system, as well as monitoring their status and meeting established response deadlines (SLA - Service Level Agreement).
  • Reacting to events detected by the monitoring systems.
  • Application and data management, application installation in the form of a full release or single patches/hotfixes.
  • Close cooperation with the Production and Development (R&D) department and the Delivery department.
  • Creating and updating technical documentation describing problem-solving processes.
